Updated. The song link didn’t work. New Song, I Would Appreciate Feedback!

    A few months ago, I came across an article online, I can't remember what or where it is, but it was cool. It said sometimes when we are practicing our artistic outlets, and we tend to think that it needs to be perfect before sharing it, which is something I do quite a bit with music I write.

    This article I came across said to give yourself only one hour to make up a song, record it and post it. The goal isn't for it to be perfect, and mine isn't,  so, that's what I have been doing here and there. I did one earlier tonight. I thought up the chord progression pretty fast. They are simple chords, but the article said that's okay, as long as you finish a song.  

    The point of the exercise is to make something fast, and then you can go back and work on it more if you like it. I'm planning on doing that. The article also said not to write lyrics. So I am posting my exercise here to get some feedback. Here it is...

Challenge Song

It's short, and could use a bridge, but it's heading in a direction I like. If you have any comments, I would love them. Also, maybe I will challenge all of you to do the same thing. My video is here, but it's posted on YouTube on my channel, Unck42.  There isn't picture because the only way I could get a decent sound was to put my iPad right next to the amplifier to record the song and have it sound somewhat normal. Also, I'm sorry about the mistakes, but that was part of the article. I recorded it after I worked on it for forty-five minutes, and then had to post it on YouTube and write the blog within one hour.

    Anyway, that's it for this post. There is something I am going to post tomorrow as well. Like I always say, I hope you are safe, happy, wearing protective masks and clothing, washing your hands, and being kind to one another. I am grateful for you all.
