So, here we are again. Song number four out of thirty. I will tell you the song, and then I will post a little bit about why I chose the song I did. So without further ado:
A song that reminds you of someone you'd rather forget: Jennifer's Cold by Buck O Nine.
So, back in 2003, I met a girl named Jen. She was really cute, and had a good sense of humor...most of the time. She used to go through all of these mood swings and it was like we were together, then she broke up with me, then she would come back, and go, and come back and go. It was so mentally straining on me.
What made it worse was that she was so demanding and her mom hated me for no apparent reason. Jen just told me that she just didn't like me. I was substitute teaching high school at the time, and her mom thought that I wasn't going to amount to anything if I became a teacher, which at the time was something I was seriously looking into. I'm glad that I subbed for a few years and decided not to become a teacher.
Anywho, if Jen was having a problem, she made it everyone's problem. In the song "Jennifer's Cold", it talks about how she makes it so everyone has to know, which was her in a nutshell. I don't know whatever happened to her. I'm so happy and blessed that it didn't work out.
I think the moral of this blog is, if you are dating someone that's being bratty and wishy washy quite a bit, leave them, and if their mother doesn't like you, well, everyone who gets married should also be blessed with a family who loves them. I'm not going to go into any details but suffice it to say, I'd rather be alone than be with her.
